Simon Cowell has been talking about the recent changes on ‘X Factor’ which saw the firing of three of its judges. The hunt is now on for their replacement and he has been talking about possible candidates and the reason why the others had to go. He said it was Fox Network that actually took the decision and that he would have personally wanted Paula Abdul to stay. He went on to say that she was gracious the way she took the news and understood that it was business.

On some of the people he would love to see as judges, he took time to single out Madonna or Katy Perry on the panel. That is to say that they are looking towards the direction of having some really heavy names in the panel. They are looking to get really big stars come the 2012 season but whether this will be possible is another kettle of fish considering the schedule people like Madonna would have.
