The top 7 contestants start their performance in the nineteenth episode. The fifth elimination of the show takes place and is announced in the twentieth episode of the show. The next round of live performances occurs in episode 21 of the show. In the twenty second episode of the US version of X Factor, the next elimination of the contestants is announced. After the said elimination, the remaining contestants have their next live performance in the thirty fourth episode of the show. As is the case in all live performances, the unlucky next group of contestants is eliminated in episode 35 of the show.
