Louis Walsh, the judge of the X Factor U.K has confirmed rumors that Britney Spears is in talks to become a judge on the X Factor Us. This does not mean that she has taken the job. The show is currently seeking a replacement for fired judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. The executive producer and epic Records Chairman, Simon Cowell and Antonio L.A Reid re-spectively, are scheduled to remain as judges on the show in 2012. Cowell has gone on to say that Scherzinger and Abdul are to be replaced by two women.

Walsh is reported to have stated that he had met Simon Cowell and he knows that he is talking to Britney to do the American show. Commenting about which stars are likely to return to the 2012 show, he said that Gary, Dermot and Tulisa are to come back. However, he says that he is not sure if Kelly will be returning to the show.

He goes on to say that he loved Scherzinger, and it seems as if he had forgotten how unpopular she was as a judge on the show. Therefore, even if he liked her, she was fired because viewers did not like her. In addition, it also seems as though the show bosses thought she was not right for the show.

It should be noted that Walsh may not be the most reliable source of X Factor predictions at this time. This is because; he was one of the people that were fueling false rumors that Cheryl Cole would be returning to the U.K X Factor. Walsh made a fool of himself when he made this prediction.

However, if Cowell and company want to learn from past mistakes, they should avoid another Scherzinger on the panel of judges. The panel needs to have judges that are not as sensitive or as emotional as Spears. Spears is likely to get emotional when it comes to eliminating contestants, which was one of the reasons Scherzinger was disliked.
