Stevens won the second season in December last year. Now he has come with a startling revelation that he was in doubt about weather to perform on the show.

He has said: “We’d watched the first season we watched American Idol, The Voice. We watched all those shows. And you see, 15, 20,000 people standing outside in lines.”

“Like, ‘There’s no way I’m going to stand in those lines. No. Not gonna happen’. She said, ‘I’ll go stand in line with you if you go’. So we went.”

Stevens participated in The X Factor. He was 37-year-old. This made him the oldest ever winner of a talent show.

He said: “Playing music and making a living at it, but we weren’t going anywhere. You do this show, you do that show. But… I wasn’t selling records. I didn’t have songs on the radio, things like that. So, for lack of a better term, it’s for real this time.”

“I don’t know if I would have been able to handle much success when I was in my 20s. You guys might have been writing about me running down the street naked, doing crazy stuff. Who knows? But we’re here and we’re going to make the best of it.”

Stevens has claimed that his win was a validation that country music was still liked in the United States.

The X Factor will return for a third season this autumn. The judges panel will include: Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell. Mario Lopez will play the sole host.

Cole has reportedly met Cowell several times in Los Angeles to discuss a possible return, sources report.

The singer of The Girls Aloud has been mulling about a return since she was sacked in 2011.

A source close to Cowell has said: “Simon would love to have Cheryl back. They’re chatting more and more at the moment and he’s hopeful she might be up for coming back.

“She’s still spending a lot of time in the States and wants to move out there so it’s looking more likely to be on the cards.”

Cowell has reportedly said to have made a mistake by substituting Cole with Nicole Scherzinger.

Cole has admitted to have a crush on her.

Later Scherzinger and Paula Abdul replaced The X Factor, and they were replaced by Demi Lovato and Brittney Spears.

When the series ended Spears and Abdul said they would be leaving the show.

Currently Cowell and Lovato are the only judges remaining on the show.

According to Kris Jenner, the reason behind Khloe leaving X Factor is her tight schedule. But other reports, however, hint that Khloe’s exit might have something to do with Kris Jenner’s suggestions to get Mario Lopez replaced with any of her other daughters which ruffled the X Factor set.

Simon Cowell was thrilled to see Mario return. According to him, Mario’s experience helped him host the show perfectly and keep Judges and especially Demi Lovato in control. The X Factor USA team is happy to have Mario hosting the live show this season as well.

So far it is not clear whether Mario will be only host this season or Cowell will find another host to partner him. Mario Lopez was obviously very excited as well as he twitted the official news of his return to his fans and said he was eager to join the show as soon as possible.

Producers of the show also confirmed Khloe’s exit and wished her best of luck for her future projects.

Previous season’s judges Britney Spears and LA Reid have left the show creating two vacancies in the judging team. Several celebrities are being approached to join the X Factor judging panel. According to news so far, Kelly Rowland, Katy Perry and Ne-Yo are the frontrunners among the possible candidates. Demi Lovato’s return as a judge in the 3rd season has already been confirmed.

But she came in defense of Khloe Kardashian when it was joked that she should be fired because she does not know how to read. She said that she sees Khloe as being very a very sweet girl. Kardashian was the co-host of the season 2 of the show alongside Mario Lopez and both of them has expressed a desire to return on the show. “X Factor” will be coming back this fall.

But they have settled out of court and papers were recently filed at the LA Superior Court with the intention of dismissing the claims. The terms of the settlement remained closed and none of the parties involved have said anything concerning it. The case first came to court way back in 2004 when the show was launched with Fuller saying that infringed on his “Pop Idol” franchise.

That was settled out of court in 2005 with Cowell giving a seat as judge in the spinoff, “American Idol” for 5 years more while he in return made Fuller a partner on the “X Factor”. According to the claim in the court, Fox and Fremantle North America had made what was termed as hundreds of millions of dollars because of Fuller’s creative efforts.

Reports suggest that the X Factor show boss is ready to offer the Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole a multiyear contract. Cole was dismissed from the show in 2011.

Sources confirmed last month that Cole will be starting on negotiations about her return to the show. Earlier it had been suggested that her return was part of her settlement of $2.3m lawsuit against the show’s executives after her sacking.

Cole was cast in the show along with LA Reid and Paula Abdul, during the show’s launch two years back. She was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.

Sources reveal that the move from Simon was a big one and his open acceptance of his mistake about dismissing her was surprising.

According to reports, when Cole was sacked from the show, critics had rebelled at the idea, and were of the opinion that it was the only time that Simon made an error of judgment.

Both Abdul and Scherzinger were replaced after a year by Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. But during the end of the show, both of them had evinced a desire to exit from the show.

And sources say that the last two seasons of X Factor were not good as expected by Simon and it is now expected that Cole will save the show.

According to reports, the new deal of Cole would be a more profitable one than her earlier $1.6m deal.

An insider has suggested that Simon is planning on giving a big contract during the ensuing weeks and that he was giving Cole a chance to return and prove his decision wrong.

Though sources say that Cole may not definitely go for the offer, but she may consider returning to the X Factor team.

But Cheryl Cole’s spokesperson has declined the suggestions that she will be returning to the series in UK in the future. Viewers had chosen her name as the likely one for the panel of judges, among names like Sharon Osbourne and Mel B.

According to reports, the singer will be definitely repeating her role in the show aired by Fox.

Sources confirm that she will be joining the show definitely and that she will be performing along with the girl team Fifth Harmony, in a live show of the episode.

And sources also suggest that Lovato will be doing a solo performance with Fifth Harmony. The band had reached the third place, during the previous season, and was mentored by Simon Cowell.

Lovato had earlier suggested that she will welcome any collaboration and would like to thank the girls for whatever they had done for her.

The Emblem 3, alumni of the show and title winner Tate Steven is also expected to give a live performance during the third season.

Earlier reports confirmed that the judges on season 2 of X Factor USA, LA Reid and Britney Spears would not be returning to the third season.

There have been rumors about the producer of the show not wanting Khloe to appear in the third season, in spite of her avid public campaign to get back into the X Factor.

An inside source has disclosed that the producers want Mario Lopez to host the show and that Khloe was not being considered.

When Kim was questioned on Khloe’s exit from the Fox show, she has maintained that people tend to say untrue facts regularly and she also rubbished rumors about her sister.

According to sources, Cheryl Cole who had appeared in the first season was being considered for the judge panel as a compensation for her $2.3 million lawsuit against the company executives.

According to reports, the third season of X Factor USA will have Simon Cowell and after the exit of Britney Spears and LA Reid, there will be three new judges included.

Demi Lovato, who had been on the judging panel in the season two of X Factor has evinced keen interest in being back on the show. He has also hinted at the entry of Lady GaGa in the place of Britney Spears.

Cole had been expelled suddenly from the show earlier, with only having finished a couple of episodes of filming. She had reportedly declined any prospect of her possible return, when she had filed a lawsuit on the executive producers for her sudden expulsion from the show.

But sources have confirmed that she will be returning on the show in accordance with a settlement agreed upon. The panel will also have Simon Cowell and three women judges.

Earlier there had been rumors of Cowell wanting Cole to return back and also the news that she is considered for the British version of the competition. But Cole’s spokesperson has denied the rumors.

The indecision about the judging panel of The X Factor USA has occurred after the exit of Britney Spears and LA Reid from the show.

And the hosts of the show, Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez too have been hinted at not returning to the next season, though Mario Lopez will probably be considered again.

Lopez had earlier revealed that he was interested in being back for the next season of The X Factor USA and Kardashian had also said that her performance on the show has been improving vastly as the host.

Meanwhile, Ne-Yo is reported to be cast on the judging panel and Demi Lovato has hinted that Lady GaGa will replace Britney Spears.

The show’s spokesperson has categorically denied the reports by saying that the producers have not made the final decisions on the talent for the upcoming season.
