Cowell wants Jessie J of ‘The Voice’ for ‘The X Factor’
Simon Cowell of ‘The X Factor’ is still searching for new judges and almost every name has been rumored to be on the list at one time or the other. But reports coming in are that he wants to poach Jessie J the singer of ‘Price Tag’ who is currently a coach in ‘The Voice UK’ which is being aired by BBC One.

He is reported to have said that he loves her and considers her to be one of the best things to have come out of the British music industry for a while now. She is currently receiving £200,000 from BBC but he is said to be willing to increase it to as much as £600,000 if she would be willing to move over to ITV where ‘The X Factor’ is being aired.
A source close to Cowell was reported to have said that he see her as a huge star whom he is willing to go at any length to get to come over to his show. This may be a tall order but he seems determined to do it and he has always been looking out for bringing down the age of the judges on the panel and feels that she is of the right age. They feel that bringing down the age of the judges would make the show more appealing to younger folks.
But someone from the BBC was quoted to have said that she will be going no where. And the source went on to say that they are so thrilled that they got her in the first place and won’t be letting go of her that easily. They saw her as an ideal person to draw on the younger generation and will not fold their arms see Cowell come in and take her away.
He already has a history of doing this successfully as he has snatched Alesha Dixon from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ that is aired by BBC for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. He did this by offering her more pay which she accepted. She was earning £100,000 before he offered her £350,000.
He said they poached Alesha and were glad about it because BBC is always competing with them even when they say that they are not here to compete. He personally sees them as the most competitive group and said hat the very reason they invest so much on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ was to compete with ‘X Factor‘. He said they also went the way of ‘The Voice UK’ to directly compete with ‘America’s Got Talent’.
